That’s right, I’m creating a Collector’s Edition of Lion of Zarall.

Cloth hardcover. Gold foil. Reversible dust jacket. You absolutely can judge this book by its cover—and what’s inside will live up to it.

Illustrated chapter headers. Character art. MAPS. World lore entries.

And wait until you hear about the add-ons 👀 The merch I’m planning for this project is to die for. I’m so excited!

For those who haven’t read Lion of Zarall yet:

A weapon has no will of its own—until the day it refuses to obey.

In the blood‑stained arenas of Chinderia, slaves are bred and conditioned to kill. None is deadlier than the Lion of Zarall, a purebred beast whose very name is a weapon. He is the prized champion of a tyrant, the jewel of a decadent court—until a night of betrayal and sorcery turns him into the king’s greatest enemy.

Gravely injured, haunted by scars that run deeper than flesh, and cursed by a magic he cannot comprehend, Lion hides on a remote farm at the edge of the kingdom.

But freedom is a promise he cannot fail.

To win it, he must return to the arena and survive the Twilight of Infinity—a brutal tournament held within a twisted city. The chains that bind him also restrain an ancient evil beneath his skin. And if Lion wins, he will not be the only one to break free.

Will he choose his freedom, or save the world that put him in chains?

So, what exactly is Kickstarter?

Maybe you’re new to this whole Kickstarter thing. Maybe you’ve heard people mention it here and there but never looked into it. Here’s my bite-sized explanation.

Kickstarter is basically:

“Hey guys, I’m creating this super cool thing. Who wants to pre-order one?”

That’s it in a nutshell.

You support a proposed project (think of yourself as a tiny angel investor) and pledge a certain amount in exchange for a reward. Authors mostly use Kickstarter to create special edition books and unique collector’s merchandise.

That’s the short version. If you’d like to know more, check out this short article.

Then head over to Kickstarter, have a look around, and make sure you follow this project. You’ll get all the updates, art reveals, and access to early-bird discounts.
