March was wild. So much happened. I pulled together a launch team (they’re incredible), and we did an awesome cover reveal for BoZ, and ARC applications officially opened.
I also joined a writing bootcamp—ten authors, one intense week of sprints. We cranked out a combined 94,454 words. My personal total? 20,237. Not bad considering a literal cyclone hit Queensland during that time. We were in lockdown, stuck indoors, and I figured—might as well write.
I ended up breaking my personal record with a whopping 5,100+ word day. The scene I was working on was INTENSE, and I just couldn’t stop. Probably not the most prolific number out there, but it’s huge for me. Here’s a quote from that week’s writing:

Also had fun teaming up with other authors on social media for some collab posts. One of them involved badly describing our own books. Here’s my attempt at badly describing Lion of Zarall (you’ll get a laugh).

For a proper description of Lion of Zarall check out this page.
By the end of March, I wrapped the full draft of Beast of Zarall and started my final round of self-edit. Sitting on 152k words right now (may go up or down a few thousand). Planning to send it to my editor and beta readers in April.
Oh—and I joined Facebook. If you wanna follow along, here’s the link.
Oh, and I’ve got an art reveal. Check this out. It’s a purebred beast tattoo design.
