Chinderia is the kingdom at the heart of Twilight of Blood. Founded by Merduth the Axe and ruled ever since by his bloodline, House Zarall. Brutal, proud, and isolated, Chinderia thrives behind natural barriers: the feral Tribelands to the north, the cold seas on either side, and Kaldoria as their only neighbour to the south, behind the Blightridge Mountains.

The capital, Brinescar, is a stronghold of politics, trade, and entertainment. To its north lie the Northern Chinderia, where the influence of the crown is the weakest. Solkara Flats and Karrondel Marches are considered the greatest sources of slave labour, while central Chinderia thrives in prosperity built on chain.

To the east, Mirevale and uninhabited Ghorhaast Crag promise nothing but trouble to the crown. The independent cities bordering these landmarks benefit from the advantage of minimal influences by the throne. Further south, the Southern Reach houses the kingdom’s greatest military forces, facing Kaldoria like a drawn blade.

Fun fact: The author Eddy Rose designed the map of Chinderia herself, using Inkarnate. Some of the names for the locations were voted by her Instagram followers.
