ARC Signups Are Now Open for Lion of Zarall!

Exciting news—I’m officially opening up ARC signups for my upcoming re-release of Lion of Zarall! If you love dark fantasy, epic tales, and getting an exclusive sneak peek before everyone else, this is your chance to be part of something special. But first, let’s talk about what it means to be an ARC reader and how the process works.

What Is an ARC Reader?

ARC stands for Advance Reader Copy. As an ARC reader, you’ll receive a copy of Lion of Zarall before the official release date in exchange for an honest review. This means you’ll get to read the book early and help spread the word before the launch. Pretty cool, right?

ARC readers play an essential role in the publishing process. Reviews from ARC readers help build momentum and give future readers a sense of what to expect. Your feedback can also help me as the author—knowing what resonates with readers is invaluable.

What I’m Looking for in an ARC Reader

If you’re interested in signing up to be an ARC reader, here are a few things I’m looking for:

  • Genuine Interest in the Genre: Lion of Zarall is a dark fantasy, so if you’re a fan of gritty worlds, morally complex characters, content warnings and epic battles, you’ll feel right at home. I’m looking for readers who enjoy and engage with this genre. If you want to find out more about Lion of Zarall, check out here.
  • Availability: ARC readers need to have the time to read the book and leave a review in a timely manner. The goal is to have feedback ready before or just after the release date, so being able to commit to reading it within a certain timeframe is important.
  • Commitment to Share a Review: Reviews don’t have to be long or fancy, but an honest review on Goodreads, or even your blog or social media platform is what I’m asking for in return. Whether you loved it or had some constructive feedback, sharing your thoughts will help others discover the book.

How the Process Works

Once you’re selected as an ARC reader, you’ll receive an electronic copy of Lion of Zarall that you can read on your Kindle, e-reader, or even on your smartphone. You’ll have some time to read through the book and then leave your honest review on a platform like Goodreads once the book is officially launched.

I’ll be selecting a limited number of readers, so make sure to fill out the signup form linked below if you’re interested. It’s a simple form to gauge your interest and availability, and from there, I’ll choose a small group of people who are the best fit for this project.

Content Warnings

Please note that Lion of Zarall deals with some heavy subject matter such as ongoing trauma, abuse, torture, graphic violence, gore and non-con. Some parts of the writing is explicit and will draw you into the characters’ minds and let you experience their feelings. If any of these things are triggers for you, Lion of Zarall may not be the best book for you.

Click here for a full list of trigger warnings. I can’t guarantee it’s exhaustive, but I’ve done my best to be thorough.

I can’t wait to share this book with you and hear your thoughts. Being part of the ARC team is a fun way to be involved in the book’s journey from draft to launch, and I’m so grateful for your support.

Thanks for being awesome, and I hope to see you in the ARC team soon!
